How to get poker straight hair
Steps:
1. First, rough dry your hair to remove most of the moisture.
2. Then apply a product especially designed to straighten and protect your hair from the heat.
3. Starting at the back, clip up the top using section clips.
4. Use a large paddle brush in one hand, and your dryer with the nozzle attachment in the other.
5. Make sure you direct the airflow down the hair shaft as this will smooth the cuticles and increase the shine.
6. Follow the paddle brush with the dryer from root to tip, and keep the dryer moving so you don't burn your hair.
7. When each section is completely dry, use the cold shot button to set the hair.
8. To further the straightened look, use straighteners. First, divide your hair in two. Take a small section from one side in the nape of your neck and clip up the rest. Do the same on the other side.
9. Now comb through the section, lift the hair 90-degrees and carefully place the straighteners onto your hair close to the roots, taking them down the hair shaft and off the ends.
10. Keep the straighteners moving to make sure you don't burn your hair, and keep working in small sections.
